Macro Monday

Any idea what this might be?

It's the end of a log about 2 feet across.


We went to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and saw the makings of a new trail. The loggers had cleared a great deal and set up many stacks of logs. It was quite a site and we had a nice picnic on a gorgeous day.

    I guessed it was wood!
    I live in the Evergreen State so it would have been embarrassing if I missed it.

      Cathie ... that's great!! I was with Andy when he took the pictures and I still didn't get it ... I thought it was bread! Ha! (I often wait till Monday to see his post so I can play along too!) Thanks for reading our blog!
