Cranes for Kids

I have been folding cranes for a project called "Cranes for Kids," which is sponsored by OshKosh. They are sending the cranes, plus one piece of clothing per crane, to help families in Japan who were affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami.

I dropped off my first batch at local store .... continued folding and mailed another box yesterday.

    Thanks Linda ... I thought it was a very cool project too. But I found out about it pretty late ... Oryana was collecting cranes till April 20, so I mailed a few more on my own. I think most of the crane projects have ended but I will search on google tomorrow and let you know if I find any that are still going on.
