Winter "Ice Mushrooms"


We were able to check out a Lake Michigan beach in winter. Always a neat contrast to a summer visit, a winter beach amazes with ice structures including these iced over pilings.

    1. Thanks Sonja! Yes, the lake sounds like summer ... but the breeze was so chilly!!! I got my mid-winter "stone hunting" fix while Andy was taking pictures! Thanks for reading our blog!

  2. I loved the mushrooms. Reminded me of the Muppets...the guy with the hair always in his face.

    Video...cold cold cold. I could feel it all the way to Nova Scotia. burrrrrr

      It was a chilly afternoon, but so nice to be outside! This week is sunny and maybe we will have 40 degrees by Friday. I think I am ready for spring!
