Cat-Nap Wednesday: Surprise Guest!

Let us introduce to you, "Mazey" the poodle, one of our very own local shop pets! Her proud parents are Pat and Dick Cookman, the owners of a wonderful local store in Suttons Bay called Enerdyne. We captured Mazey in her holiday attire. 

Every now and then we get lucky and see Mazey when we stop in. Of course, we love to talk with Dick and Pat, but Mazey is always a treat. 

Our cat, Katie, was very generous this week and felt compelled to share the limelight with another beloved pet in our community. We were impressed with Katie since usually the day is all about . . . HER. She's making such progress. ;->

OK, these are pictures of other people's pets. Our local shops "Enerdyne" and "Brain Store" hosted the reindeer visit last Sunday. It's always a fun event! Mazie, this beautiful pup, belongs to our friends who own Enerdyne. She was all decked out for the event and even had bells on her collar! In this picture, Mazie had just come outside and was quite interested in the reindeer. 

 OK ... now here's sweet Katie. She enjoyed a bit of sun, in the window, yesterday .

Cat-Nap Wednesdays

Katie goes in spells of favorite places to nap. The past 6 months or so she likes the dining room chairs. So, yes, the cushions are covered, making it easier to keep the kitty fur under control.

Last night we were playing this new game we got for Christmas ... of course, Katie found the box and tried to see if it would work for a bed. Silly girl! (The game is called "Dizios" and we've been having fun playing it ... Andy always wins though. We purchased Dizios at "Enerdyne," our wonderful local science, nature, and toy shop.)
