- 2 cups blueberries (500 ml)
- 1 cup milk (250 ml)
- 1 cup whipping cream (250 ml)
- 3/4 cup sugar (175 ml)
Then, add this to your ice cream maker that can hold around 1 Qt or .9L. We use and have loved the Donvier model here. With only about 5 to 7 turns over 20 minutes we get some of the best tasting ice cream we've ever had.
Oh, lastly, need I say it? Use GOOD, REAL ingredients! Don't skimp. (Local fresh whipping cream, we froze our blueberries that we got from a local grower over the summer, organic sugar, you get the idea . . . )
It's awesome---enjoy!
Andy
It would be so much easier if I could just come to your house for breakfast. :}
ReplyDeleteOh, we've been looking for a new ice cream maker. Thanks for including the link for yours.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos Andy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments and, yes, the ice cream maker is worth while! It is a little fragile, however, so if you have it shipped to you ensure that it arrives intact.
ReplyDeleteThe recipe posted here comes from the nice recipe booklet included. They've all been great!! ;->
Andy
Ah Thank you so so much.
ReplyDeleteI will certainly be making.
Silly question perhaps, but can i use frozen blueberries, or do you recommend fresh?
We use either ... depending on the season. I usually pick a lot while they are in season and freeze some for winter. Andy used frozen ones in the recent post.
ReplyDeleteLet us know how your ice cream turns out.
Thanks for reading our blog,
Michele
