Cat Nap Wednesday (on Thursday)

Katie is saying "is it really that time of year again??"

Kate decided to help me with the decorating till her nap time. I've had this sweet drummer boy for over 30 years. He was made by a very dear friend who I don't get to see often enough these days. Isn't he just the cutest??!!

Well, it didn't take long for Katie to decide she would rather sleep than decorate! She doesn't know the fun she is missing! ha ha!!

Christmas Lights--One House!

Here are some shots of the lights from ONE HOUSE by us. Cars pull up by the tens, park in the cul-de-sac and walk the property. Awfully generous of the home owners!! (Thank you!)

I've had this little guy for as long as I can remember. My Mom did a great job caring for and saving our childhood decorations. I really treasure my, now vintage, (like me) decorations.

I have always loved bottle brush trees!! A good place to purchase bottle brush trees (and lots of other wonderful things) is the "Red Ladder."

It's Looking Like Christmas . . .

Cat-Nap Wednesdays

Katie looks like she's helping with the decorating....

.... but really she is waiting for me to play with her. She is sitting next to one of my favorite bears. This bear was created by "Pat Murphy." Her her creations are wonderful.

Here she sits staring at me while I work on some hand sewing. (Andy will not be happy with my blurry photos!!)

Finally she won me over and we played a good few good games of "mousey!!"
